Josahub ("we", "our", "us") operates the Josahub website and mobile applications. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number, role (renter, landlord, agent)
- Profile and listing data: properties, bookings, verification documents
- Location: map pin coordinates and optional GPS when listing a property
- Payment references processed by Stripe or Paystack (we do not store full card numbers)
- Usage data: pages visited, device type, and app diagnostics
How we use information
- Provide rental marketplace features, bookings, and dashboards
- Authenticate users and send transactional emails (e.g. password reset)
- Process payments and subscriptions through third-party providers
- Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
Third-party services
We use trusted providers including:
- Supabase (authentication and database)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Stripe and Paystack (payments)
- Resend (email delivery)
- Google (optional sign-in and maps)
Mobile apps
Our iOS and Android apps load the Josahub web platform in a secure WebView. Authentication cookies, payment flows, and data handling follow the same practices as the website. OAuth and payment checkout may open your device browser and return via app links.
Data retention & security
We retain account data while your account is active and as required by law. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our database.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us, or delete your account instantly from josahub.com/account/delete while signed in.
